Private Lessons

Private lessons includes 30 minutes of riding instruction as well as hands on horse care before and after riding. This includes, but is not limited to, grooming and tacking your horse. Private lessons typically last about an hour.

Western dressage

Dressage is a great foundation for any rider to have. It allows riders to progress through levels of riding and build up on their riding skills. Currently, we are instructing Intro Level-Level 1. We attend local dressage shows in Southern Maryland, occasionally out of state to recognized dressage shows, and Morgan Horse shows that offer dressage.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do you recommend lessons?

Weekly lessons are recommended. Riding is all based around muscle memory, so the more you ride, the more you'll improve! Riders can choose to do more than one lesson a week or can choose to do less. Whatever works best for you and your needs.

Are the horses provided for lessons?

We provide the horses for your lessons. We have horses geared towards all levels of riders. Riders will have the opportunity to learn on multiple horses for their lessons.

What do we need to bring to our first lesson?

We provide all of the horse equipment that is needed for your lesson. We have helmets that are available to all riders, but you are more than welcome to bring your own riding helmet. All riders should wear long pants to their lessons as well as closed toed shoes (something preferably with a heel).

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash payments are preferred, but checks are accepted as well. At this time, we are not accepting payments via cash apps.
